Grid Iron Greats Banquet: A Tradition of Greatness

The Grid Iron Greats Banquet is held every Spring to Honor Inductees into the Lock Haven University Grid Iron Greats Group.

Grid Iron Greats are selected based on recommendations from former teammates and other players and coaches to recognize LHU Football players, coaches and support staff who had outstanding careers for the LHU Football Program.

Banquet Includes:
  • A Cocktail Reception
  • Dinner
  • Silent Auction
  • Introductions and Speeches by the Inductees into the Grid Iron Greats
Grid Iron Greats Qualifications

To be considered for induction into the Grid Iron Greats an individual needs to:

  • Be recommended by a former teammate(s) or another LHU player or coach
  • Had an outstanding career as a player, coach, or support staff for the LHU football program
  • Involved in community activities and organizations that benefit their communities and/or Lock Haven University and its football program
  • Be voted into the Grid Iron Greats by the Grid Iron Greats Nominating Committee
